Description
Jordan’s Principle aims to make sure First Nations children can access all public services in a way that is reflective of their distinct cultural needs without experiencing any service denials, delays, or disruptions. This includes services related to health, education, language, culture and recreation.
We invite First Nation Governments, child-focused service providers, First Nation families and advocates to join us for a day of workshops to understand the full scope and referral process for Jordan’s Principle.
This is a free event. For more information please contact Katherine Alexander at the Council of Yukon First Nations at katherine.alexander@nullcyfn.net or (867) 393-9200 ext:9241.
* CYFN will cover travel for two delegates from each community.
