Climate Change workshop-Hold the date request
October 17, 18, 19,2016

Climate change is a reality being dealt with by Yukon First Nations on a daily basis. A number of Yukon First Nations have accessed federal government programs on climate change adaptation over the past 5 years. Indigenous Affairs and Northern Development Canada and Health Canada have received funding for another 5 year cycle of work on adaptation and are seeking input on their programs going forward. This workshop will provide an opportunity to identify Yukon needs and priorities and help shape the programs. There will be funding available to allow participation from each First Nation. A formal invitation with further details will be distributed shortly. For further information contact Bob Van Dijken, Director of Circumpolar Relations at or 867-393-9237.
