Manager of Family Preservation Programming and Policy

Job Summary: Reporting to the Executive Director, the Manager of Family Preservation Programming and Policy is responsible for the overall management and development of initiatives related to programming and policy.  The Manager of Family Preservation Programming and Policy works to design and coordinate programming to ensure family, community and cultural connections are maintained and strengthened. The incumbent will be responsible for supervising a multidisciplinary team that researches, identifies, develops, recommends and implements programming and policy initiatives.

Screening Criteria: Post-secondary education in social sciences or related field, and/or equivalency obtained through course work and/or work experience.

Salary:                   Level 11: $94,308.55 – $117,884.63

Family Preservation Support Worker 

Job Summary: Reporting to the Manager of Family Preservation Client Services, the Family Preservation Support Worker will provide practical assistance and support to First Nations families seeking assistance from CYFN. This support will include providing information about community services and making referrals. The Family Preservation Support Worker will liaise with Yukon First Nation governments and Yukon Family and Children’s Services staff to ensure that First Nation families receive the services they need.

Screening Criteria: High school education or equivalent, with relevant post-secondary training and/or equivalency obtained through course work and/or work experience.

Salary:                   Level 7: $60,367.72 – $75,458.94
